Where has the time gone? Happy New Year!

A lot has been happening since the last post. We've moved 400 miles south to Oceanside, CA. Next to the town where we lived 2006-2008. We are loving it here. House is big, yard is amazing, kids play in the streets, plenty of elementary school kids for Aria and Aspen to play with. Santa brought a giant trampoline for Christmas which is fun for all.
Aspen is enjoying her new preschool, Catholic and montessori, Aria loves her school too.
We're starting visiting season here: Kirsten will be coming and some friends from Northern CA.
All is well with Rachel and Chris. Chris still flying (and loving) his job as an EMS pilot in New Mexico (home every other week) and Rachel just published her third book for Crimson Romance.

Spring!

Lots happening here! Girls out for spring break, my mom arriving for a visit...and last but not least, I sold my book! Publishing date this summer. Here are a few photos. Enjoy spring!

Winter into Spring

Fruit trees already blooming here, even though overnight temps often in the thirties. Aspen loves school. Aria on a "pre-competition" swim team. They swim 500 yard in an hour! She's a trooper. Chris just got a job. Week on week off schedule flying EMS helicopter in New Mexico. And I'm finally getting close to finishing the draft of my first novel "Rock Her"

Its winter on the central coast and that means we can hear the big surf most days from our place. It also brings the rainy season which makes everything green!

Aspen's 2 year stats

Aspen is 27 lbs 11oz (76th) and 36" (98th) at her two year well child appointment. Just for fun I looked up Aria's 2 year stats: 35 lbs 1 oz; 38" 99+ percentile for all. Chris told me today that both my girls will be taller than my 5'8" and I agree.

First Lost Tooth!

And visit from tooth fairy. Fairy dust left in room. Aria said "if I touch it will it make me fly?"
